Work as a Clinical Assistant in our Residential program. Clinical Assistants provide client care, assist counseling and nursing staff, check vitals, assist with intakes and discharges, & promote client safety. Clinical Assistants can also enforce rules of the program, general cleaning duties, count meds and administer medications (if TMA), and search rooms as needed. CAs should be engaged with clients, either checking in with them or performing safety checks if working nights.
To ensure success, Clinical Assistants should exhibit a proactive approach toward patient centered care. Outstanding candidates have prior experience working with people in a treatment or residential setting and are able to follow detailed instructions.
Responsibilities: Creating a positive experience by welcoming and assisting patients throughout their stay. Preparing patient files by obtaining personal and health information. Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Mediating between patients and providers. Guiding patients through the programs various procedures. Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to record, monitor, and report a patient's condition to professional personnel. Exceptional interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks as directed by on site supervisors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our Benefits:

The Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment completes background checks in compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services. We must conduct a background for employment within the Center. We do work with applicants on submitting paperwork for reconsiderations and variances if their background requires it.
