Job Description:
American Electric Power is seeking a dedicated and independent Client Relations Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Associate level position, the Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
Responsibilities:- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services- Analyze client feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing new products or services as well as providing updates on existing offerings- Monitor client accounts and track key performance metrics to ensure targets are being met- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise between the company and clients- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes to better serve clients and anticipate their needs
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 2 years of experience in client relations, account management, or a related field- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced environment- Excellent presentation skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software- Experience in the energy industry is preferred but not required- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
