Cleve Hostess Location Miami Beach, FL (Flamingo Lummus area) : Summary: The Hostess presents a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. This person also greets guests upon arrival, informs guests of their wait time, monitors a waiting list, enters guest's names into the system, shows guests to their table and bids guests farewell as they exit the property.
Duties and Responsibilities: Presents a warm, welcoming and outgoing first impression to guests entering and/or passing by the property entrances Delivers an enthusiastic and professional greeting to guests upon arrival to dining areas, and adds them to the wait list when necessary Provides guests with menus and answers any initial questions Seats guests at tables and bars Assigns guests to tables in the venues they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive a manageable number of tables and a fair opportunity to interact and engage in the sales process Engages with guests to ensure happiness with the food and beverage services they receive Consistently delivers exceptional service to guests while entertaining in a professional manner in accordance with the Company's brand expectations Builds relationships with guests that add value to the guest experience Is knowledgeable and helpful about the local area, the hotel and the hotel services, bar and restaurant services Responds to complaints and seeks resolution, involves management in all guest related issues or concerns Supports and assists team members in all positions Participates in in-house modeling programs, guest events, and performs model/presenter tasks at Clevelander events Maintains weight and appearance levels consistent with that at time of hire Models Clevelander apparel and accessories while greeting guests, and maintains an appearance consistent with the Company's brand expectations Serves as a Brand Ambassador for Clevelander, using finesse and good judgment Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures at all time Other Functions: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
