Class A CDL Truck Driver – Local 30-250 miles New Holland, PA
Deliver customer's products throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states Drive well-maintained, clean Peterbilt or similar trucks Work a Monday through Friday schedule with weekends optional (50-70+ hours per week) Build friendly relationships with our customers – for many of them, you are the face of the company Keep an accurate electronic or paper logbook when required Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Strap/unstrap loads. Navigate in occasional tight spots, backing in or parking beside the road in both urban and rural areas Follow preplanned routes & timeframes for deliveries while using a common sense approach to necessary reroutes and changes Treat customers with respect and friendliness Keep trucks & trailers clean and organized Join a small, family-focused team that promotes excellent company culture and a positive work environment. Our Ideal Class A CDL Truck Driver: Experience: Has a valid Class A CDL License and PA Medical Card. At least 21 years old, prior driving & forklift experience is a plus Safety Conscious: You will be operating large equipment. Safety while driving on the roads is vital. Making sure product is secure during the route and delivered safely must be the priority. Active: Some physical labor, such as strapping and unstrapping or occasionally unloading a job manually. Able to lift 50 pounds. Computer Skills: Use a RouteManger app or ELD on a digital device Customer-Oriented: Must treat customers with respect and friendliness. Keep the customer happy at all costs because they keep us in business. Clean-Cut: No visible tattoos, professional attitude, polite, and shows integrity & honesty in all situations.
