Job Overview Claim Service Ambassador I contributes to Wawanesa's goal of delivering an exceptional and consistent claims experience by taking inbound calls from customers and responding to their questions and concerns about their claim in an engaging and empathetic way. The Claim Service Ambassador I position works remotely in a fast-paced high volume call center environment.
Schedule Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm Pacific Time You will be scheduled 5 days per week with two days off. Compensation: Depends on experience and varies by location.
California Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $23.87 - $35.81 per hour, depending on experience. This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of wage-hour law, which means you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek or more than 8 hours in a workday Colorado Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $21.70 - $34.18 per hour, depending on experience. This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of wage-hour law, which means you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek or more than 12 hours in a workday Nevada Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22.78 - $34.18 per hour, depending on experience. This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of wage-hour law, which means you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek. Washington Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $21.70 - $32.55 per hour, depending on experience. This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of wage-hour law, which means you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek. Job Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service Handle a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner Identify customer' needs, clarify information, and research issues to provide solutions and/or alternatives Within a limited scope, review claims and answer basic questions about claim coverage, liability, and damages Coordinate some services with vendors and service providers Maintain accurate records based on company standards and policies within the claims system Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Exceptional customer service skills demonstrating empathy and concern for customer satisfaction Good communication skills, both written and oral Good investigative and analytical skills Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry College/University degree is preferred Position requires the ability to lift up to 5 lbs on a daily basis Benefits and Other Total Rewards Components Include: Medical, Dental and Vision Flexible spending accounts (FSA) Voluntary benefit plans - accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness Supplemental short and long-term disability benefits Life insurance Enhanced 401K plan Paid time off (PTO) accrued at 0.0693 hours/per hour worked to a maximum annual accrual of 18 days (135 hours) You will be eligible for Wawanesa's annual bonus plan, entitled "Goal Achievement Plan" (GAP), that rewards employees for driving Wawanesa's success.
