Job Role: Claims / Risk Management Associate Location: Greensboro, NC Duration: Fulltime Summary: Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Claims / Risk Management Associate to join their Greensboro, NC office. 
This position plays a crucial role in managing claims and risk throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, claims investigation, and processing, as well as a deep understanding of the insurance industry and relevant regulations. Responsibilities: Oversee multiple insurance risk-transfer programs, including annual renewal processes, audits, expense budgeting, and forecasting.  Travel up to 20% of the time to fulfil job responsibilities.  Provide guidance to the accounting department on invoice processing and payment timing.  Support cross-functional initiatives within the corporate safety and human resources departments.  Utilize knowledge of the insurance industry, federal/state regulations, workers compensation, and traditional property and casualty coverages. Manage claims administration, periodic reviews, and assist in preparing and submitting claims for all lines of coverage.  Maintain insurance records and obtain/update certificates of insurance required by business partners. Review contract documents, recommend strategies, and participate in negotiating final coverage requirements. Assist in accident investigations, risk assessments, and settlement negotiations. Develop and implement training programs for accident investigation, safety, and risk transfer practices. Collaborate with corporate safety and management to develop jobsite safety plans and mitigate workplace hazards. Participate in accident and injury investigations, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations. Organize safety meetings, coach personnel on the JSA process and WC process, and coordinate jobsite inspections Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience in Workers Comp Claims investigation and processing. Licensed Adjuster in Workers Compensation. (Preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in Risk Management. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Demolition/construction/contracting or family business experience (preferred) Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced setting. Organized and able to effectively prioritize and delegate multiple tasks. Maintain confidentiality related to claims and claims history.
