Civilgeotechnical Engineer

Multistate design firm is seeking a Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on dam projects for their team in Fayetteville Arkansas!

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership/project management for water resources projects
Tasks include inspection investigation evaluation design and construction of both existing and new dams reservoirs levees and hydraulic structures
Promote high standards and exceed industry standards
Develop/review design calculations engineering reports construction drawings and technical specifications
Conduct seniorlevel review of construction documents (calculations plans specifications)
Assist with business development
Build/maintain client relationships
Coordinate project workloads with multiple offices
Represent firm at networking events
Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in civil engineering from an ABETaccredited program
12 years of experience in hydrology hydraulics geotechnical and/or structural engineering
PE License
Proficient in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications
Knowledge of state and federal dam safety design methodologies policies and regulations
Project management/client relations experience
Business development and proposal experience
Salary is commensurate with experience.
