Job Description Summer 2024 Internship Your internship at CanamYour mandate will be to assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with the management and supervision of a structural steel erection project, while being based full time onsite. Looking for interns locally situated in Halifax, Nova Scotia.Your tasks will include:Collect data on site and update the construction schedule (MS Project, Smartsheet);Produce erection progress and site daily reports (AutoDesk Construction, Trimble Connect);Assist the Site superintendent with quality control;Follow up on the delivery schedule and validate delivery slips;Participate in coordination meetings with the engineering, detailing and fabrication team;Attend on-site coordination meetings with the general contractor;Assist the steel erector in repair request (field works and deficiencies);Assist with health and safety recordings.That said, it's your team that will give you the most satisfaction, because at Canam, we have a strong bond of growth and possibilities!The Canam benefitsWe also offer flexible hours, numerous career opportunities and a variety of other benefits depending on where you work.
