Civil Engineer/Project Manager Job Summary : Huitt-Zollars' Rio Rancho, NM office has an excellent full-time career opportunity for a Licensed PE in New Mexico as a Project Manager for Public Works/Transportation with a Bachelor Degree in engineering. This opportunity is for an experienced roadway/transportation Project Manager with 5 -10 years of experience, including utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Duties/Responsibilities: Work collaboratively in a team environment providing leadership and Project Management (PM) duties for public works/roadway infrastructure. Will support projects focusing on public works/transportation projects, with a focus on agency coordination and project development. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Must be a licensed PE in New Mexico with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. At least 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience with producing accurate and complete construction plans and reports. Ability to work independently in a team environment and to manage multiple projects with limited supervision. Must be able to work directly with clients and directing a staff with varied levels of experience and expertise. Excellent verbal and written skills, communicating engineering information clearly and concisely. Ability to train staff and review work for quality assurance. Solid leadership and management skills, self-motivated, and possess a strong ability to meet deadlines, satisfy clients, and solve complex problems. Competencies: Acquires, understands, and applies technical and professional knowledge and skills to perform job effectively, efficiently, and safely. Understands and adheres to Huitt-Zollars policies and procedures. Stays abreast of trends and pending changes within assigned area of responsibility.
