Job Responsibilities: Project Management and Oversight: Manage the complete lifecycle of engineering projects, including approvals for land use entitlements, construction plans, final plats, and site plans. Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly progress, ensuring all site development improvements are completed on schedule. Client and Proposal Management: Prepare comprehensive proposals for prospective clients, detailing project-specific budget estimates, scopes of work, and timelines. Update existing project scopes based on new requirements and conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of engineering exhibits, plans, and reports. Regulatory and Consultant Coordination: Coordinate with various third-party consultants, including structural engineers, architects, and environmental specialists, ensuring cohesive project advancement. Procure all necessary development permits, including early grading and construction stormwater permits, navigating complex regulatory environments. Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing issues as they arise. Create and maintain essential documentation and reports to track project milestones and financial metrics. Qualifications: Licensing and Certification: Required: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon and/or Washington. Candidates able to transfer a PE license to Oregon within 90 days are also eligible. Preferred: Proficiency certification in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Education Requirement: · Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with project scheduling software, with a preference for Microsoft Timeline. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in land use development. At least 2 years of project management experience, with demonstrated capability in leading projects and managing teams. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Skilled in managing interactions with a variety of stakeholders, including clients and consultants. Project Coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
