Civil Designer

Civil Design Engineer Needed! Qualifications ? Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited program (not licensed)
? Engineer-in-Training or PE certification preferred
? Computer literate
? Good communication skills
? Good organizational skills
? Ability to demonstrate organizational and communication skills verbally and in writing
? Understanding of civil engineering concepts and terminology
? Ability to apply current codes and standards under direction
? Proficiency in AutoCAD/ Civil3D software 
? Ability to apply logic and creativity to design solutions
? Little or no design experience required, may require substantive supervision
Responsibilities ? Provides calculations as directed by Project Engineer
? Develops details with assistance from Project Engineer
? Performs limited site observations, typically with Project Engineer
? Meets budgets and schedules
? CAD drafting/production work
? Completion of work within stipulated time and budget (as provided by supervisor)
? Design involvement and support of civil work
? Attend site observations under direction of supervisor
? Development support of specifications and cost estimates
? Support of company policy and systems
? Provision of quasi-clerical support as needed
? Follows office and department policies and project procedures
? Strives for efficiency, productivity, and quality control within discipline
? Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
