Overview: We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator a church here in Greenville. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various administrative tasks and possess strong organizational skills.
This is a temp-to-hire position offering $19-22hr and working 32 hours a week. The week is Monday – Thursday, 8:00-4:30pm. Once hired, salaried at $40-44k.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and answers and direct calls with a friendly demeanorPublish weekly bulletinsMaintain updated information on church website and Facebook pageCommunicate information to the appropriate party throughout the dayKeep office area organizedMaintain files and records, both digital and paperAssist staff and pastors as neededMaintain church schedule and calendar. Disburse information as needed.Run, prepare and submit reports as neededAttend meetings and take notesSchedule the use of church facilitiesSubmit monthly payroll for the church and preschool employeesOther duties as directedOversee and manage office operations efficientlyQualifications: Individual with Christian, faith-based beliefsPreviously administrative experience in an office settingStrong computer skills to use Microsoft Word, Publisher, and ExcelPositive team oriented work ethicGood organizational skillsCompensation: $19-22/hourSchedule: Temp-to-hireMonday – Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm, 32 hours per week
