Careful coordination of discharge and after-care: We work very closely with the family, the school and your child's pediatrician and other therapists to coordinate discharge. We want to make sure your child has the support at home and in the community to be able to transition back to school. This planning includes making sure everyone is aware of the medication plan. We also try to schedule all follow-up appointments before your child leaves, so parents and teachers know the next step in the care plan.
Quincy Hospitality House: Parents traveling to Quincy to visit a child receiving treatment in the inpatient unit are welcome to stay at the Quincy Hospitality House.
In our inpatient care unit, our specialized team provides a wide variety of services for children and teens, whose average length of stay is 7 to 10 days. We help young people cope with behavioral problems and issues such as:
