Child Care - Assistant Teacher

Summary Library Square School  is now hiring an  Assistant Teacher to join our team of dedicated and fun loving staff. We are currently looking for either Full-time  or  Part-Time Assistant Teachers!
Our mission is to hire the  BEST  employees to provide top-notch care for our children in our licensed childcare facility! Duties
Some of the  duties  include but are not limited to the following: Working with children on art, science, leading story time, etc. Be positive, energetic and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day Providing feedback to parents about their child's day. Being a creative teacher who enjoys working with young children! Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children Requirements Good work ethic Assistant Teacher Certification or willing to complete booklet course Excellent communication skills Ability to work well with others A strong understanding of child development Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Must clear full background check Must be able to work afternoons Benefits Flexible Schedule (Full or half days available) Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Paid Sick Days Weekly Paid Planning Time Tuition Assistance for Early Childhood Education Courses
