About the Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a seasoned and visionary Global Chief People Officer (CPO) to head our People department. This role is pivotal in crafting and implementing Human Resources strategies that are in harmony with our organizational goals and objectives, all while uplifting our overarching vision and mission. As a direct report to the CFO, the CPO will manage a global team of over 30 professionals across the full spectrum of HR operations. This encompasses talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, and HR technology.
The ideal candidate will be an advocate for our organizational culture, dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and integral to our success. Exceptional leadership qualities, a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, and a proven ability to enhance organizational excellence through effective people management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enact HR strategies and initiatives that balance global consistency with local applicability.
Lead and expand the HR team to support our rapidly evolving organization.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and strategically manage talent, ensuring efficient placement and management within the organization.
Foster a "pay for performance" culture, managing competitive total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent.
Enhance employee engagement and retention by promoting a positive work culture, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Oversee performance management processes, goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
Provide practical HR policy guidance and support to all levels of management and staff.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Drive HR process improvements through data analysis, feedback, and benchmarking.
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Over 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CHRO role.
Global experience is a must; finance/fintech and public company experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
