The COO will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the company, addressing challenges proactively, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to all aspects of operations, including catering production, logistics, quality control, and customer service. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and maximize productivity. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive performance optimization. 2. Catering and Culinary Excellence: Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality meals that exceed customer expectations. Oversee menu development, food sourcing, and production processes to maintain excellence in culinary offerings. Implement quality assurance measures to uphold food safety standards and regulatory compliance. 3. Logistics Management: Manage logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of catering services to executive flights across the country. Optimize transportation routes, inventory management, and warehousing processes to minimize costs and enhance efficiency. Partner with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and maintain quality standards. 4. Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth. Conduct financial analysis and reporting to track performance against targets and drive informed decision-making. 5. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth and excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in catering, hospitality, or related industries, with a focus on operations management. Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, managing complex logistics, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and driving profitability. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across all levels of the organization. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably with a company generating $25M or more in annual revenue. Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to support operational requirements.
