Position Summary:
We are a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the Finance department. This entails supervising all financial and accounting functions while collaborating with the executive leadership team to implement strategic initiatives directed by the CEO.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all finance and accounting functions, including but not limited to:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable and Billing
Financial Statement Preparation and Reconciliation
Financial Analysis
Payroll
Third-Party Systems Contract Management
Personnel Benefit Oversight (Welfare Benefits and Retirement Plan)
Representative Payee Oversight
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures within areas of responsibility.
Cultivate positive relationships customers, families, and employees, promoting principles of self-determination, dignity, and respect.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, contributing to the development and execution of organizational goals.
Foster collaboration among executive team members to advance mission.
Serve as an ambassador, representing the organization positively among stakeholders and the public to further its goals and mission.
Qualifications/Specifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management and accounting operations.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, administrative, decision-making, and leadership skills. Proficiency in accounting best practices, accounting software, and Microsoft and Google office suites. Exceptional spreadsheet skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets).
Interpersonal Skills and Critical Cognitive Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in representing the organization to stakeholders and negotiating contracts. High-level ability to cultivate relationships.
Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to perform job-related duties, including lifting, standing, bending, stooping, stretching, walking, pushing, and pulling with or without reasonable accommodation. Capable of lifting and carrying equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Essential Sensory Requirements: Ability to interpret verbal and nonverbal expressions to respond promptly to staff and customer needs.
Key Relationships:
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively address customer and team member needs.
Keep the CEO informed of challenges and recommend solutions.
Participate in staff and customer education/development.
Contribute to maintaining a positive public image and relationships.

Willingly undertake additional duties as assigned.
