We are on the lookout for a dynamic and highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in Private Equity Real Estate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about generating outstanding returns for stakeholders while maintaining a keen eye on risk management. With a focus on commercial real estate finance, the perfect candidate will bring a wealth of experience—at least a decade—coupled with a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in satisfying the expectations of owners and investors.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead our financial operations, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and optimizing cash flow. You'll be pivotal in constructing a robust infrastructure designed to secure impressive Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for our investors.
Project Management: Oversee construction budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for development projects and acquisitions.
Analysis & Acquisitions: Collaborate with the executive team to analyze and execute acquisitions and development projects. Your insights will guide financial strategies and investment decisions.
Relationship Management: Forge and nurture strong relationships with banking institutions to secure financing, and maintain open lines of communication with partners and investors, ensuring transparency and trust.
Team Leadership: Spearhead our accounting team, providing mentorship and fostering an environment that encourages growth and efficiency, all underpinned by advanced technology solutions like Yardi Voyager.
Who You Are:
A seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, particularly within a GP/LP Promote and Waterfall Private Equity setting. A background in construction budgeting will be highly regarded.
Analytically minded, with a proven ability to evaluate, negotiate, and execute acquisitions and development projects.
A builder of relationships, with a strong network in the capital markets and a track record of securing equity and debt financing.
A leader capable of growing and managing a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Committed to precision and excellence in financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Solid experience managing construction budgets and an analytical prowess in project underwriting.
Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar enterprise-level technology.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
