Position Overview:
Are you a financial wizard with a passion for strategic planning and growth? We're seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and lead our finance-related activities. As our CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company, working closely with our executive team to drive financial success and implement our strategic vision.
Responsibilities:
Take the reins on all finance-related activities, from planning and implementation to management and control.
Foster strong banking relationships and ensure optimal cash flow to support our operations and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with our CEO to evaluate potential growth opportunities, whether through expansion into new markets or strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Lead the development of yearly performance objectives and financial forecasts.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Utilize advanced financial analysis to provide insights and support decision-making.
Oversee risk management and insurance programs to safeguard our assets.
Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Drive efficiency and innovation within our accounting department, implementing best practices and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a growing company.
Strong familiarity with financial management software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience in the A/E/C market and with Private Equity backing preferred.
