Our client is a Real Estate Development, General Contractor, Property Management, and Infrastructure Construction company located in the suburbs of Buffalo. They are currently seeking an experienced leader to play an integral role in shaping the future of the company.

THE JOB
Our client is looking to recruit a sophisticated executive for the position of Chief Financial Officer. While this executive will have overall responsibility for the fiscal operating results of the company, we are seeking someone who is first and foremost, a good businessperson; someone who can wear multiple hats, as necessary. The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the management team to implement the overall company business strategy and to improve the bottom-line performance of the company.

Experience with commercial real estate and mergers and acquisitions are requirements for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA a plus.
Experience as a CFO or a senior finance leader within the real estate sector – preferably commercial development.
Knowledge of real estate finance, commercial real estate trends, investment options and opportunities, banking relationships, and overall lending knowledge.
Work ethic. Must do the right thing, even when no one is looking – no exceptions!
