We are excited to announce an opening for a Chief Business Development Officer, a pivotal role in our executive team focused on spearheading strategic initiatives to foster business growth and expansion. This position is ideally based in Nashville, Tennessee, but will operate remotely, offering a flexible and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategize and implement a comprehensive business development plan aimed at enhancing revenue growth and expanding market presence.
Actively seek and cultivate new business opportunities by networking, prospecting, and building robust relationships.
Lead the coordination and execution of proposals, engage in contract negotiations, and close deals with new clients.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure that service delivery aligns seamlessly with client expectations, thus enhancing client satisfaction.
Sustain and strengthen existing client relationships, exploring avenues for additional service offerings and partnerships.
Remain abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to anticipate and capitalize on market shifts and opportunities.
Deliver insightful reports and updates to the executive team on business development strategies and their results.
Position Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in business development, with a preference for candidates with a background in a related industry.
A proven record of developing strategic business development initiatives and achieving growth objectives.
An established network and a demonstrable capacity to maintain and enhance stakeholder relationships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
A consistent history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and facilitating business expansion.
Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
