Full job description Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis, Inc., a rapidly growing small business, is currently seeking a Chief, Army Air and Ground Programs to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.
Role As Chief, Army Air and Ground Programs, you will play a pivotal role in driving our continued success in the Army government contracting sector. You will leverage your deep industry expertise and relationship-building skills to secure new contracts, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure our continued growth within the government market.
Responsibilities Work closely with Cepeda Senior Leadership to define, develop, and achieve Army Air and Ground Program goals and objectives. Develops, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of Cepeda's Army Air and Ground Programs. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key government decision-makers and industry partners within Army DEVCOM AvMC, Aviation, and Missile communities. Assist in managing groups within the organization whose work ranges across various disciplines within the Army DEVCOM AvMC, Aviation, and Missile community. Proactively identify upcoming government hiring needs that align with our company's capabilities. Routinely target and initiate contact with major prospective customers in new or existing accounts to generate new business opportunities, help increase revenue with existing clients, and ensure customer satisfaction at the highest levels. Provide leadership to employees that demonstrate commitment to corporate initiatives and to the culture of Cepeda. Qualifications Proven track record of success in securing and managing government contracts. Minimum 10 years of experience in the government contracting industry. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local government contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.). Strong understanding of the government procurement process. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with government officials at all levels. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strategic thinking and analytical abilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Active secret security clearance. Bonus Points Experience/Relationships within the DEVCOM AvMC S3I Organization. Proven ability to identify upcoming government hiring needs. A network of established contacts within the government contracting community.
