The Chief Administrative Officer is a dynamic and multi-faceted role that oversees numerous support services. This vital position focuses on ensuring our business departments are working in collaboration with our program services, by way of providing strategic direction based on current needs, high level of customer service, and effective and efficient operations that ultimately impact overall organizational health. This position serves on the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and oversees the areas and Directors' of Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing and Contracts, Campus Operations and Facilities management. We are mission focused agency, serving children and families, thus experience and a thoughtful lens as to trauma informed services will be essential as oversight, alignment, planning, and decisions are made.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy:Develop and implement strategic plans for each support service department in alignment with the organization's vision and mission.Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to department heads to enhance team performance and individual growth.Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to establish and execute long-term strategies and policies.Strong customer service focus for both internal programming and external vendors.Human Resources Department:Supervise and manage the HR department, ensuring effective talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws, accreditation standards and industry best practices.Guide HR initiatives such as employee engagement, onboarding, orientation, diversity and inclusion, and compensation and benefits.IT Department:Lead the IT department in implementing and maintaining a reliable and secure IT infrastructure across the organization.Develop and execute an IT strategy to support business requirements, including hardware, software, network, and cybersecurity.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT team.Purchasing Department:Manage the purchasing function to ensure cost-effective procurement processes and vendor management.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supply chain performance to ensure optimal service delivery.Collaborating with all departments to ensure their needs are being met and programs can function optimally.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement operations.Campus Operations and Facilities Department:Oversee the smooth functioning of campus operations, including maintenance, security, transportation, and other related activities.Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive working environment, per our accreditation standards.Plan and oversee facility improvement and expansion projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient resource allocation.As the Chief Administrative Officer, you will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's overall efficiency, business health, employee satisfaction, and operational excellence.
