Responsibilities
• Operate assigned processes to meet quality, production, and productivity goals• Prioritize daily tasks with Production Leads and Supervisors• Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures and Learning Resources• Complete annual personal and plant goals• Assemble and disassemble production equipment• Perform basic equipment maintenance• Drive a culture of safety and quality• Issue safe work permits• Complete assigned training• Cross-train peers on approved functions
Requirements
• Must be and remain clean shaven for safety purposes• Ability to wear respirators and pass respiratory and physical tests• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders• Ability to roll cylinders weighing up to 200lbs• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays• Positive attitude and safety-first mindset• Ability to learn technical chemical processes quickly• Effective communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to perform under pressure and changing priorities• Participation in emergency response team• High school diploma or GED• Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred• 2+ years experience in process operations environment preferred• 2+ years of chemical or hazardous material handling preferred• 2+ years experience working on mechanical / electrical systems preferred• Knowledge of root cause investigation and Lean manufacturing preferred• Computer literate preferred
