Responsibilities
• Meet all Airgas safety standards• Fill, handle, store, load, and unload cylinders• Maintain productivity during work shift• Support product quality standards• Knowledge of pure gas filling process and blending techniques• Troubleshoot production issues• Inspect cylinder fill equipment and perform minor maintenance• Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections• Perform mathematical and gas calculations• Produce LEL and MOC calculations• Move cylinders using a cart or forklift• Perform basic equipment maintenance• Calibrate production and analytical equipment• Complete daily fill sheets and cylinder filling records• Operate vacuum pumps, cryogenic pumps, booster pumps, and compressors• Operate manual and automated production equipment• Offload cryogenic materials• Production planning and prioritizing• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area• Work alone or in a team environment• Perform other assigned duties or projects
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)• 3 years relevant industry experience preferred• Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets• Ability to coordinate efforts with multiple departments• Aptitude for high precision work• Ability to work with others in a team environment• Ability to operate forklift and maintain certification• Ability to follow directions, make decisions, and be reliable• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications• Ability to perform mathematical calculations• Ability to work all shifts and in all weather conditions
