Job Description:
Valero Energy is seeking a motivated and independent Chat Support Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As an Entry Level position, we are looking for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The Chat Support Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support through chat communications.
Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and issues through chat in a timely and professional manner- Provide accurate information and solutions to customer problems- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate department- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions- Collaborate with team members to improve chat support processes and procedures- Meet or exceed performance targets and goals set by the company
Requirements:- 1 year of experience in a customer service or technical support role- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Proficiency in typing and multitasking- Strong problem-solving skills- Experience with chat support software is a plus
