Job Description:

Murphy USA is seeking a part-time Chat Support Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Associate-level role, the Chat Support Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat channels.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues through online chat in a timely and professional manner- Utilize critical thinking and analysis skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions- Research and troubleshoot technical issues to provide accurate information and assistance- Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of chat conversations- Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues- Proactively identify trends and patterns in customer inquiries to improve overall support processes- Stay up-to-date on products, services, and company policies to accurately assist customers

Requirements:- At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or support role- Resourceful and independent with the ability to work with minimal supervision- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in typing and multitasking while engaging in chat conversations- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and processes- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple chat conversations simultaneously
