Job Description:

Ashland is seeking a reliable and hardworking Chat Support Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a part-time Associate Level position, this role requires at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chat support to customers, assisting with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner- Provide accurate information and solutions to customers' problems- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate team- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies

Requirements:- At least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Excellent negotiation and time management skills- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred- Proficiency in chat software and Microsoft Office applications- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
