Full time day position, reporting to Director of Nursing

Supervises and coordinates all nursing care rendered on the skilled unit.

About the position:

The RN Unit Manager Promotes the mission and values of Vernon Green Nursing Home and its Nursing Department

Oversees and assists with documentation, i.e.: summaries, monthly M.D. orders, Medex reviews, and nurse's notes.

Provides supervision, instruction and teaching to the other nursing staff as needed to carry out high quality nursing care.

Admits, transfers, and discharges residents, completing all the necessary paperwork.

Communicates with the M.D. both by phone and in person during physicians' visits regarding the current status of residents.

Participates in the Infection Control, & Quality Assessment and Assurance programs for the facility

Other functions as required.

Starting Pay: $32.20-$40.00 per hour based on experience

Pay: $32.20 - $40.00 per hour
