• Represent the department faculty to the Director• Manage the operation of the department• Promote professional relationships within the Department, School, and University• Assist in student recruiting efforts• Evaluate faculty performance• Convene department faculty meetings• Oversee School of Music auditions and barriers• Determine use of department facilities• Encourage continuous improvement in all activities• Work under the direction of the Director
Requirements
• Master of Music degree• Extensive faculty experience in the School of Music• Leadership potential• Teaching experience in the instrumental curriculum preferred
