* Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH* No other surgery centers or locations to provide coverage at

Office Hours/Work Schedule

* 4 days/week with rotating call* Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (cases start at 7:30 a.m.), hours may extend past 3:30 p.m. with Surgery add-on cases.

Staffing

* 8 Anesthesiologists* 20 CRNAs

Call Schedule

* Rotating weekday call every other week* 1:10 weekend call* Weekday call 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. • Weekend call Friday 7:00 a.m. - Monday 7:00 a.m.* First call post day off

Case Load

* Case load depends on room:* General Surgery* CRNAs occasionally assist in cardiac, but MDA is the primary provider* Thoracic* Vascular* OB/maternity* Gynecology* ENT* Ophthalmology* Ortho* Urology* Peds - mostly for ENT
