NCG Associates, a trusted healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with experience in Telemetry to join our team. As a Telemetry CNA at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and monitoring to patients in a telemetry unit.
Responsibilities Assist with monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients in a telemetry unit Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Help patients with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nursing staff Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy Assist with documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care Requirements Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience Knowledge of telemetry monitoring equipment and practices Ability to interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms Compassionate and empathetic attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification If you are a dedicated and experienced CNA with a background in telemetry, we encourage you to apply to join our team at NCG Associates.
