Responsibilities
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, and positioning residents• Provide assistance with dressing, bathing, and grooming• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of incontinent residents• Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding• Monitor and report residents' status and condition• Ensure a safe and clean environment• Follow established procedures for safe lifting and transfer• Collect and label lab specimens• Attend required in-services and meetings
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent• Minimum of 1 year of previous long-term care experience• Valid CNA license or Personal Care Aide/Home Health Aide certification• Ability to read and interpret documents• Good written and verbal communication skills• Knowledge of English language, math, and reasoning• Customer service and problem-solving abilities• Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize work• Dependability and professionalism
