Responsibilities
• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene and mobility.• Aiding in daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and meal preparation.• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status.• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.• Assisting in dining and providing companionship.• Performing light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders.• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED.• Must be 18 years of age.• Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course.• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level.• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.• Completion of new hire orientation.
