Certified Nursing Assistant

The day-to-day duties of this role include companionship, helping clients with mobility around or outside his/her room and providing personal hygiene assistance. Must be ok with a smoker for this specific patient. Hours are 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.BENEFITS TBD Responsibilities* Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as eating and transfers.Perform housekeeping duties and keep client's room cleanReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryQualifications* Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related dutiesValid driver's license and reliable transportation every single dayValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA ProgramTake pride in providing high quality careHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)Bright Home Health is a family-owned business, in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area.
