Responsibilities
• Accurately and safely prepare and administer medications• Measure, document, and report vital signs• Observe residents for medication response and report unexpected reactions• Record and restock medication inventories• Be familiar with commonly administered medications• Ensure medication is taken or applied as directed• Notify supervisors of any errors or reactions to medications• Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
• Certified Medication Aide Certificate or CNA Certificate working towards CMA• No convictions deemed un-licensable or un-hirable by the State of Oklahoma
