Our office is currently looking to hire a full-time Certified Medical Assistant
Rate of pay $16-$20 per hour based on experience.
Certified Medical Assistant provides support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in our office. They assist in various administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities include the following but not limited to: Clinical Duties: Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information Educate patients on renal disease management, including medication adherence, diet, and lifestyle modifications. Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with other healthcare facilities for referrals. Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and ensure patient information is up-to-date. Handle phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Order and maintain supplies and equipment necessary for patient care and office operations. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Adhere to established protocols, procedures, and regulations governing renal care and medical practice. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Stay updated on advancements in renal care practices and procedures through continuous education and training. Qualifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Prior experience working in a renal office or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology, EMR systems, and basic computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
