Certified Medical Assistant or LPN - East Des Moines Family Medicine Full-time Benefit Package
Dayshift Hours! Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm
**$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates.
Provide professional clinical services for patients following established practice standards and clinical protocols including, but not limited to the following:
Room patients and obtain vital signs. Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures. May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis. Medication and/or vaccine administration. Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling. Test result management and tracking as determined by provider. Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal. Current CMA Certification or LPN Licensure. High school diploma. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments. Why UnityPoint Health?
