Job Summary:McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/CDJR is seeking a highly skilled and certified GMC/Chevrolet Technician to join our team in Clanton, Alabama. This is a full-time, commission-only position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity for industry leading earnings potential. As an GMC/Chevrolet Certified Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in all work performed.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $60,000 to $180,000 per year based on commission earned. In addition, you will have access to benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair all systems on GMC/Chevrolet vehicles according to manufacturer standardsPerform routine maintenance and safety inspectionsCommunicate effectively with customers and Service Advisors to explain vehicle issues and repair recommendationsUtilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and address automotive problemsFollow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing workKeep accurate and detailed records of work performed and parts usedAttend training and development programs to stay current on industry advancements and updatesMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to all dealership policies and proceduresRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent certification in GMC/Chevrolet vehicle repairMinimum of 2 years of experience as a certified automotive technicianStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust have own toolsAvailability to work full-time hours, including some weekends if neededEEOC statement:McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/ CDJR is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
