Job Description Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing medical care in the Urgent Care Clinic, to residents in Community Living Center units, covering as a hospitalist, and responding to medical emergencies. The Urgent Care Clinic is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday, holidays and weekends from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The primary work schedule is a compressed schedule, typically working 40 hours over a 3-day period. Hospitalist - Admit and manage inpatients with general adult medical illnesses. It includes performing histories and physical examinations, rounding on patients, writing progress notes, discharge planning and timely completion of discharge summaries.
Provide outpatient care in the Urgent Care Clinic including treatment of patients presenting to urgent care, appropriate referrals, transfers to outside facilities, and admissions to acute medical unit Admission and care of patients that are admitted to the facility on the acute medicine unit and the Community Living Center nursing home units Participate in the teaching of medical students, physician assistant students, nurse practitioner students, and medical residents Participate in medical staff decisions affecting patient care services Manage complex diagnostic problems and difficult clinical management issues Interested: Please provide your resume and cover letter

Pay: Competitive salary up to $300,000, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
