Your Role With Us: As our next Solution Center Operator, you will: Processes switchboard activities through the communication systems in a pleasant, courteous, prompt, complete and accurate manner according to approved policies and procedures. Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot customer issues, and follow up on customer interactions. Monitors all alarm systems in call center/switchboard and notifies appropriate person or response team according to approved policies and procedures. Background/Expertise: Education: One (1) year of college level course work in hardware, software components, operating systems required or a minimum of one (1) year of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of education. Experience: One of the following required: • One (1) year contact center, or • One (1) year Helpdesk, or • One (1) year Customer Service Special knowledge, skills, & abilities: • Ability to follow scripts and workflow diagrams required. • Healthcare knowledge preferred. • Working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office Suite. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Technical knowledge of personal computer operations, basic network operations and data communications set-ups. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. • Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergency staffing and scheduling. • Must be able to function well under pressure. - Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
