About C2DREAM

(C2DREAM) is a federally funded center developed to understand and reduce disparities. In cardiovascular disease and related chronic conditions experienced by BIPOC communities, including immigrants and refugees, across Minnesota. The Center spans across multiple University of Minnesota departments, schools, and campuses, the Mayo Clinic, and Hennepin Healthcare
The Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion Across Minnesota (C2REAM) is looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as the Building Relationships Around Indigenous Endurance (BRAID) Research Project Coordinator. This role will be instrumental in collaborating with leadership to plan and execute BRAID research objectives. Additionally, the coordinator will support the C2DREAM Administrative Core (AD Core) by assisting in coordinating the monthly seminar series and annual health equity conference. We are seeking a candidate with strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with diverse communities on community-engaged research studies.
This role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 in-office days per week, with Tuesdays as our current in-office day. 70% - BRAID Project Coordinator:
Building Relationships Around Indigenous Endurance (BRAID) is a R01-level community-engaged research project that utilizes community-based participatory research. methods to engage urban Native American families in community-led, culturally grounded programs to promote youth physical activity and healthy eating.
Responsibilities include: Collaborate with research team members and community collaborators to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate meetings among team members, community collaborators/sponsors including schools and school districts, and the community coalition. Manage project resources, including budgeting, procurement, and allocation of materials and equipment, as well as reconciling expenses. With the study leads, build recruitment and data collection approaches and infrastructure including through REDCap, Box, and other secure data collection and storage software. Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of research data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols. Coordinate submission and approval processes with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) via ETHOS and with school district Research Evaluation and
Assessment processes. Ensure that research activities comply with institutional, ethical, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate project processes and implement improvements for enhanced community-centeredness and effectiveness. Prepare annual progress reports for NIH and contribute to the development of presentations, and publications for partners and funders.
30% - AD Core Events Coordinator: Collaborate with the C2DREAM AD Core team and partners to co-coordinate the monthly Health Equity Seminar Series and manage the logistics of the annual Health. Equity Conference. Additionally, manage any ad-hoc events that may arise throughout the year. 
Responsibilities include:
Work with the C2DREAM and PHDR leadership team and staff to plan and schedule monthly health equity seminars, including identifying topics, securing. speakers, and coordinating logistics, including publicity and managing, registration. Collaborate with the C2DREAM leadership, staff, and conference planning committee to develop the conference program, theme, and agenda. Communicate with speakers to confirm participation, provide event details, and collect presentation materials. Coordinate venue selection, contract negotiations, and logistical arrangements for events, including setting up virtual options. Manage registration processes, including online registration systems and onsite check-in procedures. Oversee the production of event materials, including flyers, programs, signage, and promotional materials. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to arrange catering, audiovisual equipment, and other conference-related services. Provide on-site support during events, including managing registration desks, handling inquiries and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Assist in post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, compiling evaluations, and preparing post-event reports.
Expected  Salary Range: $23.97 to 26.17 hourly depending on qualifications and experience. All required qualifications must be included in the application materials Required Qualifications: BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 6years Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and across teams. Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture that values and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Proven ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail and a highly organized approach to work. Ability to manage workload autonomously and collaborate effectively within a
team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ethos, Salesforce, REDCap, Adobe Creative Cloud and Squarespace. Previous involvement with equity-focused programming.
