We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as CDL- Class A Drivers. This role is integral to our growing company and may require some overtime and flexibility. Qualifications Valid CDL A License Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to foresee and resolve potential problems. Ability to bend, kneel, walk, stand, and lift for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Responsibilities Safe pick-up, loading, delivery, and unloading of materials and equipment. Maintaining equipment and trucks in proper working order according to manufacturers' specifications and federal DOT requirements. Reporting damaged equipment immediately and scheduling major repairs. Ensuring all equipment is properly serviced, fueled, and ready for operation. Securing loads properly to prevent shifting and wind damage during transport. Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and equipment. Operating various tools and equipment including skid steers, excavators, and various hand tools. Assisting landscape crews and maintaining orderly yard as needed. Communicating effectively with clients, project managers, and foremen. Keeping accurate records and providing a safe and clean work environment. Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance. Enforcing company's policy and procedures. Work Schedule Our typical days of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am till 6:00 pm. However, weather, deadlines, etc. may affect the daily schedule. During peak season, willingness to work overtime and Saturdays is required. Must also be available and on call during the snow season according to our snow policy.
