About the Role: American Cedar & Millwork, Inc. seeks a local CDL driver to join our Raleigh, North Carolina, team. As a key member of our operation, you'll be responsible for all functions and distribution of materials with our company-owned delivery truck, warehouse, and inventory handling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in the shipping of company goods by driving the company-owned delivery truck
Maintains delivery schedule and ensures delivery schedule is met
Verifies the accuracy of shipments
Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments
Accurately prepares orders by pulling material from stock
Operates forklift/Moffett in a safe and efficient manner
Responds to inquiries to provide the status and accuracy of deliveries
Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: At least two years of delivery driving experience
Demonstrated safe driving record
Must be able to drive stick shift
Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic computer literacy
Ability to meet delivery times and schedules with little supervision
Valid CDL driver's license
Must meet DOT guidelines for drivers of commercial motor vehicles
