Responsibilities:
* Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty trucks to transport waste materials to designated locations
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and make safety a top priority
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
Job Functions:
* Operate vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts to load and unload waste materials
* Utilize GPS and communication devices to navigate routes effectively
* Monitor waste containers and ensure proper disposal in accordance with company policies and regulations
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels
* Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area
Skills:
* Experience as a CDL Driver with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
* Proficient in operating CDL vehicles and familiar with safety protocols
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
* Valid CDL license and clean driving record
