Responsibilities
• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor• Process customer sales using an electronic cash register• Count money at the beginning and end of each shift• Process specialty products like money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales• Enforce age restrictions by checking identifications for restricted sales• Stock shelves and keep the store clean• Receive vendor deliveries and ensure shelves are stocked and organized• Resolve issues related to bad merchandise• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age or older in certain states, 21 years or older in others• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively• Basic math skills• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check• Personable, detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
