Cashier/Runner Brickstones

Job Summary:The Cashier/Runner at Brickstones is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and ensuring their dining experience is efficient and enjoyable. This is a full-time, entry-level position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Knoxville Downtown in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an individual contributor, the Cashier/Runner will work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain high-quality service and uphold the standards of Brickstones.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers an hourly rate of $13 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis. The successful candidate will also have access to the benefits package offered by Embassy Suites by Hilton Knoxville Downtown.Responsibilities:Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, communicating any specials or promotions as neededAccurately and efficiently process guest dining orders using a POS systemHandle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring proper change and accurate payment processingMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, including cash drawers and merchandise displaysPrepare and serve food and beverages as necessary, including making specialty coffee drinks and scooping ice creamAssist in bussing tables and resetting for incoming guestsCommunicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate serviceAdhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelinesAttend all required training sessions and staff meetingsPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in cash handling and customer service preferredFamiliarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handlingAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30lbs for extended periods of timeEEOC Statement:Embassy Suites by Hilton Knoxville Downtown is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
