Summary  Chucho's Red Taco is looking for an individual to fill the role of Cashier. Applicants must provide references along with their application.
The cashier will manage the customer experience and ordering process in our fun and fast-paced food truck.
Job Responsibilities Customer Relations Welcomes guests and answers any questions about menu items Takes verbal orders and accurately enters them into the POS Accurately communicates payment amount to guest, receives payment and gives correct change Work Area Ensures a clean and organized work environment Keep cash and tips organized and secure Communication & Teamwork Communicates allergies or other specific customer information to Expo and Line Cooks Alerts Expo or Shift Manager to any customer issues Notifies Shift Lead or Shift Manager of cash needs Job Requirement Skills Cash handling Organizational skills Highly motivated and enthusiastic Ability to stand for long hours at a time, ability to bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.  Verbal communication Teamwork Customer relations Ability to multitask and get several assignments done within a short time Action oriented Education/Experience  Previous restaurant and/or money handling experience considered a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) considered a plus High school diploma or some college desired By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
