Cashier/Food Service Worker

Job summary
Hiring immediately for a full-time cashier/food service worker position at Millipore Sigma in St. Louis.Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday from 6:00 am - 1:30 pm.Requirement: Prior cash handling and food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities
• Helps prepare foods and catering orders.• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.• Performs general cleaning duties and removes trash/garbage.• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.• Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.• Sets up serving line and ensures food temperatures are within acceptable ranges.• Serves hot and cold items to customers.• Sets up items for purchase on a daily basis.• Keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using the first in, first out rule.• Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items.
Requirements
• Prior cash handling and food service experience preferred.• Willingness to train.• No specific education level required.• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
