Principle Duties
Creating treatment plans for individuals that reside at the Utah State Developmental Center.
Interacting with interdisciplinary team to help the individuals successfully achieve their goals.
Supervising subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
Ideal candidate will possess
Medicaid, Title XIX of the Social Security Act requires this position to hold a
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field.
One year of paid work experience dealing with the intellectually disabled population.
One year or more of paid supervisory experience.

Planning, directing
and evaluating activities.
Initiates procedures that enhance the social and behavioral skills of clients.
Assessing situations and applying appropriate, non-violent interventions to prevent or resolve crisis situations.
Documenting the individual's progress and revising treatment plans as required; completes administrative paperwork.
Monitors cases to ensure that treatment plans are being followed.
Consulting with others to discuss treatment plans, new or unusual situations, findings, options, and recommendations on client/patient cases.

Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
Risks found in potentially dangerous or unusual environmental stress situations, e.g. being subject to possible physical attack, etc.
May be required to provide 24 hour on call services.
You must successfully pass a criminal history check.
You must be determined eligible for direct patient access to provide services to a vulnerable adult in accordance with U.C.A 26-21 and R432-35.
